Aisha Popoola

Aisha is a graduate of Essex University, United Kingdom. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology and is passionate about Mental health especially in Nigeria. She has started off nicely by being dedicated to creating awareness about mental illness and helping reduce the stigma for mental health in Nigeria. She is currently the executive assistant to Mr Lanre Olusola who is the CEO of a life coaching academy. She is also is a trained and practicing life coach and neuro linguistic programmer (Level 1).

A dream of hers is to one day be able to help people who are going through any form of mental illness in Nigeria because she has been a victim and understands the complexity and effects of such illness on the psychological state of mind it has on people. Aside her passion for mental health, she loves cooking, socializing, dancing, and acting. She hopes that one day she would be able to make it to the big screen and spread the awareness of mental health through it.

Paula Bamgbose-Martins

Paula is a graduate of a Bsc in Psychology from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and a recent graduate of an M.S.Ed. in Counseling and Mental Health Services from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. She is currently pursuing her second master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania to become a Licensed professional counsellor/therapist.

Her passion and work experience in the field of mental health and counseling has continuously served as a driving force in creating awareness of prevalent mental health issues in the Nigeria.
As a mental health professional and prospective researcher, educator and psychologist, she is adamant on dedicating her lifeworks to the field of mental health with the hopes of breaking the stigma behind mental health and subsequently providing services to all socioeconomic classes in Nigeria. Paula is also an indie-soul singer-songwriter who uses her music as a medium of addressing some issues relative to mental health.
